Process after zone allocation of C.Excise Inspector (Chennai Zone Experience)
Generally dv/physical/medical process takes 2-3 days. But in exceptional circumstances, it may take 4 days also. Document Verification:(Day 1) Report at your CCO at 10 a.m. There, get a sheet and write an application to The Chief Commissioner and put your options for commissionerate. You will be allotted commissionerate as per cgl merit.You will only know your allotted commissionerate when your joining letter will be dispatched. At CCO, when your name will be called, go to concerned table and get your documents verified. In Chennai, DV was very strict. They match character by character. After dv, they will provide you a permission letter for medical. Medical:(Day 1/Day 2) After document verification, you will be given a letter from CCO for medical.
